Gwirfoddoli ar brosiectau Menter Iaith Môn

“Fe wnaeth gwirfoddoli i Fenter Iaith Môn wir agor fy llygaid i’r holl weithgareddau sy’n cael eu trefnu mewn cymunedau gwahanol ar draws yr ynys, a hynny i hyrwyddo a chefnogi’r Gymraeg. Dwi’n teimlo bod y Fenter Iaith wir yn gwneud gwahaniaeth o fewn y gymuned, ac roedd arna i eisiau bod yn rhan o’r cyffro hwnnw.

“Volunteering with Menter Iaith Môn really opened my eyes to the many activities that are being organised in different communities across the island, all to promote and support the Welsh language. I feel that the Menter Iaith really makes a difference in the community, and I wanted to be a part of that excitement.

By now Menter Iaith Môn means a lot to me as it gave me the opportunity to develop my communication skills, allowed me to work with others and solve problems. The Menter Iaith allowed me to do what I enjoy doing, such as working with children, teaching people about the importance of the Welsh language, communicating confidently with the public, and much more.”

Gwirfoddolwr Achlysurol Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych

“Mae llawer o bobl yn cwestiynu beth yw’r pwynt gwirfoddoli a gweithio am ddim, ond ni fydda i wedi cael y profiadau dwi wedi eu cael heb weithio efo’r Fenter a chyfarfod yr holl bobl dros y cyfnod efo nhw. Mae’r profiadau wedi bod yn ddiddiwedd ers cychwyn yno, dros faes eang oedd yn gorchuddio gwaith hefo nifer o oedrannau. Roedd o’n brofiad gwych medru bod yn rhan o waith y Fenter, gan ei fod yn pwysleisio’r hwyl sydd i’w gael wrth ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg yn broffesiynol a chymdeithasol.”Many people question the point of volunteering and working for free, but I wouldn’t have had the experiences I’ve had without working with the Initiative and meeting all the people over the period with them. The experiences have been endless since starting there, the work covered a wide area with many ages. It was a great experience to be able to be part of Menter Iaith’s work, as it emphasises the fun to be had in using the Welsh language professionally and socially.”

“Roedd gwirfoddoli gyda Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr yn ardderchog, mae wedi agor llawer o ddrysau i mi. Cefais lawer o hwyl, a chyfleoedd gwych i ddatblygu cymaint o wahanol sgiliau, gan gynnwys fy sgiliau trefnu a chyfathrebu. Roedd gwirfoddoli yng Nghŵyl Canol Dre, Caerfyrddin yn wych ar gyfer fy CV a hybu’r iaith Gymraeg.”“Volunteering with Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr was great, and has opened many doors. I had a lot of fun, and it was a chance to develop so many different skills including organisation and communication. Volunteering at Gŵyl Canol Dre in Carmarthen was great for my CV and to promote the Welsh language.”

“Mudiadau gwirfoddol yw’r Mentrau Iaith, gydag aelodau ein holl bwyllgorau yn gwneud hynny o’u gwirfodd gan eu bod yn teimlo’n gryf dros y Gymraeg yn eu cymunedau.”“The Mentrau Iaith are volunteer organisations, with all our board members doing this voluntarily as they feel strongly about Welsh in their communities.”
